Place Records' first mixtape 'Chemical Peel' represents a first for the label and its patrons, offering a cross-border OTT/MTL hybrid compilation of new electronics. Individual members of Montreal-based Boyscout Killers and Ottawa's resident sound artist Adam Saikaley join Place mainstays pH, Tauno, Hmmm, and Ion That Eats Its Face to create a broad and seamless range of offerings, featuring ambient, industrial and electro house interchanging with glitchier synth elements as the story unfolds.
