PLACE launched its first release of its modern era with a joint effort between label-mates pH and Ion that Eats Its Face entitled Everything is Air.

For pH, the release represents some of his finest and most discernable endeavours into recorded production, taking time off playing live to release his first tracks since his debut full-length LP, $�, in 2008. Both personal favourite 'Construction Paper' and 'Take It' showcase tremendous growth in songwriting, structuring, and sound design from the perennial live PA magician.

The album also sees the recording debut of synthesizer duo Ion That Eats Its Face, with a trio of eerie and emotive tracks painting their half of the split.
